
Jaye Sablan is a CHamoru poet and writer from Saipan in the Mariana Islands archipelago. Her work has been published in Nepantla, Yellow Medicine Review, As Us, Bitch, and Our Work Is Everywhere: An Illustrated Oral History of Queer & Trans Resistance. Jaye’s poetry has also been featured in the illustrations, film, and art exhibitions of queer and trans visual artists based in the U.S. Pacific NW and beyond. She lives and works in Seattle—the traditional lands and waters of the Coast Salish peoples, past, present, and future.
